The Jessie’s Well Foundation, “Water Cycle” Bike Tours

Kit Garren, cyclist, father, and co-founder of Jessie’s Well Foundation will embark on an awareness and fund-raising campaign to provide healthy, clean drinking water for impoverished villages in Central America. Kit’s journey will cover over 3,450 miles through 12 states and will require over 45 days to complete.

66,240 - Children will die during the ride from a water-related disease...at least onechild per minute (WHO, 2012).

This labor of love, aimed at providing an economically viable and sustained source of clean, healthy drinking water to desperate families throughout Central America, was born out of the tragic loss of Kit & Marilyn Garren’s 17 year old daughter Jessie to a rare form of cancer in 2008.

The Vision

Of Jessie’s Well Foundation is to provide healthy, clean drinking water and Christ’s love throughout Central America so all can live and never thirst again.

How You Can Help

Jessie’s Well Foundation has partnered with Compassion International to provide clean water where the need is critical. Jessie’s Well Foundation has funded two water purification plants in the Dominican Republic and plans 22 more as part of a five-year plan.
