2022 Ready, Set, Go!

Dec 31, 2021

Congratulations friends, you adjusted yourselves and your organizations to meet the requirements demanded to serve well and be profitable. 2021 wasn’t 2020, and the pandemic mindset appears to be the new-normal. Each year, in my personal preparation for annual strategic planning, I seek wisdom from trusted friends, colleagues, industry thought leaders, and ultimately, God’s Word. Below are a few of my favorite guiding verses that show God as being totally in control of the universe, earth, our nation, our community, our organizations, our families, our health, and the bottom-line.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
– Proverbs 3:5-6

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.
– Jeremiah 17:7-8

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.
– Proverbs 16:3

This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
– 1 John 5:14

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
– Psalm 91:1-2

For we live by faith, not by sight.
– 2 Corinthians 5:7

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host
one by one and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.
– Isaiah 40:26

My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
– Psalm 62:7

And my God will meet all your needs according to
the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 4:19

Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
– Proverbs 16:20

Please let me know if you have a guiding verse, word, or quote for the 2022.

Warmest regards, Happy New Year, and press on,

Rich
