Profiles In Leadership: Ray Gadd

Mar 16, 2020

Ray Gadd loves challenges and adventure.  He is an avid fisherman, bicycles around the state and beyond, and has traveled with his wife Cathy to New Zealand, Australia, and Africa.

But Ray's efforts to build up the community involve the challenges of executive leadership.  As the Deputy Superintendent of schools at the Pasco County School Board, he's helping make the Superintendent's vision for great schools--and greater future opportunities--into reality--not an easy job by itself.  But he's also responsible for the day-to-day administration of 72,000 students and 10,500 full and part-time employees across about 100 locations.  The Pasco County school system is a major organization that requires skillful management to keep running smoothly.  And that's Ray's other daily responsibility.

As busy as he is, Ray Gadd serves on the boards of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network, the Angelus, and Safety Town.  He also serves on the District Board of Trustees for Pasco Hernando State College. He is consistently involved with helping countless organizations in our amazing community to achieve their goals and objectives.

Ray, thanks for taking on these leadership challenges in Pasco County! Press on!
