Swing Fever Heats Up Innisbrook Resort 6 Years in a Row

Tampa, Fl. (April 6, 2017)Abe Brown Ministries will host its sixth annual Abe Brown Legacy Golf Tournament benefiting ­its Emergency Food AssistanceFamily RestorationFamily Reunification, and Food for Life Pantry programs.

The golf tournament will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Golf Course located at 36750 US Highway 19 N. in Palm Harbor, Florida. Abe Brown Ministries is excited to welcome new sponsors TitleMark and HGC Development in addition to returning sponsors First Baptist Church of College HillCoca-Cola Beverages FloridaGlory Days GrillFOX 13Dimmitt Automotive GroupUncle John's Pride, and Digital Lightbridge.

Two-time Super Bowl champion, Anthony "Booger" McFarland will host the tournament again this year. Booger is a college football analyst for SEC Network, the 24/7 multi-platform network devoted to the Southeastern Conference and operated by ESPN. Continental breakfast at the course and registration will begin at 7:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Participants will be able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including a hole-in-one contest to win a Cadillac sponsored by Dimmitt Automotive Group. A silent auction will be held featuring numerous items from a family four-pack of Disney Theme Park Hopper tickets to the hottest new electronic devices. Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and recognition lunch courtesy of Glory Days Grill.

The Abe Brown Legacy Golf Tournament is in its sixth year. Robert Blount, Abe Brown Ministries President says, "The golf tournament has become a staple event in the community.
